PA EASTON — Easton Zoning Board approved a mixed-use development on Bushkill Drive featuring a 60-foot building with variances for height, street trees, and wide driveways despite public concerns about floodplain management, stormwater impact, and traffic. Developer Brandon Walker said the design accommodates livable ceiling heights and reduces stormwater runoff. The board also unanimously approved variances for a duplex at South Locust Street, a privacy fence at West Milton Street, a rear parking area at South 13th Street, and conversion of commercial space to apartments at Folk Street, requiring four street trees.
The board denied variances to convert a single-family home to two units on South 12th Street in a 3-0 vote with Chair Civitella recused.
