Council approves solar program outreach and dam lighting letters

PA EASTON — Easton environmental council votes on dam lighting and reviews climate rating. The Environmental Advisory Council voted unanimously to send letters to Friends of Easton and City Council regarding Lehigh Dam lighting and heard a presentation from Brandon Sullivan, Sustainability and Conservation Team, on the Switch solar program. The council completed planting more than 100 trees at Lower Hackett Park as part of its Climate Action Plan, though the plan's Community Development Plan rating dropped from A- to B despite additional climate goals.
