EAC elects new committee chairs, approves bylaw amendments

PA EASTON — Environmental Advisory Council approves bylaw amendments and elects new committee chairs across five positions. The council voted 4-0 to approve bylaw amendments clarifying Vice Chair and Secretary responsibilities and elected Ian Kindle for Greenspace, Nick Gorski for Transportation, and Mary Arlia for Waste and Recycling. Stacy was re-elected Vice Chair and elected to chair both Education and Outreach and DarkSky committees.
The council heard a tobacco litter reduction program presentation covering an initiative that has collected 11 pounds of cigarette waste and plans expansion into the West Ward and South Side.
