Easton approves eight historic permits, infrastructure agreements

PA EASTON — Easton City Council approves historic preservation permits and infrastructure agreements. The seven-member council unanimously approved eight certificates of appropriateness for historic district properties and four infrastructure resolutions on April 22, including agreements with Road-Con for bridge work over Bushkill Creek and with Colliers Engineering and Design for stormwater improvements in the northern section of Williams Township. Mayor Salvatore Panto pressed for caution on residential parking procedures, requesting completion of a comprehensive parking study before the council moves forward on parking policy.
City Administrator Luis Campos and Councilman Frank Pintabone agreed the study should take three to six months.
