Easton Council OKs grant applications and software financing

PA EASTON — Easton City Council unanimously approves grant applications and software financing July 22. The council authorized the Department of Community and Economic Development to apply for Justice Assistance, Multimodal Transportation, and Hotel Tax grants while approving OpenGov software implementation financing through Univest Bank. All council votes were unanimous.
The council also received a presentation on an environmental monitoring project using air quality sensors mounted on bicycles through partnerships with Allentown, Penn State, and Community Bike Works.
