Easton EAC creates finance committee for 2027 budget planning

PA EASTON — Easton Environmental Council establishes new committee to guide fiscal 2027 budget planning. The Environmental Advisory Council voted 3-1-1 to create an adhoc finance committee tasked with developing the fiscal 2027 budget request by July 31, with a suggested $1,000 budget line. The council scheduled a July 11 cleanup at Center Circle from 8:30 to 11 a.m. and received updates on climate action planning, solar outreach mailings through the Switch program, plastic waste reduction surveys, and ongoing litter heat-mapping initiatives in West Ward, South Side, and College Hill.
