PA EASTON — Easton Planning Commission conditionally approved an eight-lot townhome subdivision on Stewart Street in a contested 4-2 vote. Applicant Manshi Patel, representing property owner Scott Kindred, will develop seven townhome units with required conditions addressing fire access and stormwater management; the Commission directed the Fire Department to review rear access and required a recorded covenant to clarify maintenance responsibility. In separate unanimous votes, the Commission designated two West Ward properties as blighted: 813 Ferry Street and 1023 Lehigh Street.
The Commission also discussed proposed zoning amendments on data centers and warehouses and directed staff to incorporate feedback before submission to the Lehigh Valley Planning Commission.
