PA EASTON — Easton Zoning Hearing Board unanimously approves freestanding sign variance for Reynolds Street church. Brynlee Lippincott, representing River of God Fellowship Church, sought approval for 136 square feet of signage at 813 Reynolds Street, where six square feet is the standard maximum, and for a freestanding sign where such signs are not permitted in the South Side zoning district. Church council member Maureen Romans and treasurer Jeremy Cressman testified that the vinyl sign, installed two years prior without approval, identifies both English- and Spanish-language services for the 150-member congregation sharing the building with a Spanish-speaking congregation.

The board unanimously approved the variance subject to permanent anchoring of sign posts and approval limited to the current church use or successor church use.
